The first service of Faith Baptist Church was August 3, 1978 with W.W. Fountain as Pastor.  The first meeting was opened with the reading of Psalm 127:1.  The church soon became a thriving congregation  Dr. Wilfred J. Simons assumed the pastorate of Faith Baptist Church January 1, 1989.  Theodore S. Nadasky, Sr. assumed the pastorate on November 17, 1989 and served until April 1998.  The church called Pastor Hodges in July, 1998, and he assumed the pastorate on August 1, 1998.  Since Pastor Hodges has been the pastor the church has been going through many renovations, spiritually and physically.  The auditorium, foyer, nurseries, offices, bathrooms in the main building have been completely renovated thanks to the hard work of many of the faithful men in the church.  The fellowship hall kitchen and bathrooms have also been renovated and now the focus is on the outside of the property.  Along with the work of renovating the existing buildings, 17 additional acres of land have been acquired for future expansion.
